The outline follows the border of Poland. Inside, the composition is divided into 16 spaces, one for each administrative region of the country.

The River Vistula runs across the piece as a continuous line, cutting through the internal divisions and holding the composition together.

Integrated LED lighting can be recessed along the outer contour and the line of the river, so the piece reads differently by day and at night.
